Are you good at organizing and enjoy coordinating projects and leading a team of volunteers?
This may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Meals on Wheels Site Coordinators give back to the community by putting their organizational and administrative skills to work. Coordinators are the backbone of our organization, helping to ensure that meals get out to over 1,000 homebound individuals each day. It only requires a few hours of your time, each week.

The Meals on Wheels Site Coordinator will serve at our Tulsa or Broken Arrow sites. You will open the site and prepare space for meal delivery on your designated day. When volunteers arrive, you will greet them and provide them with their delivery information for the day. One of the primary roles of a Coordinator is to communicate with the Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa office about volunteers, delivery routes, and Meals on Wheels recipients.

You will receive training prior to coordinating on your own.
Time involved is between 2-4 hours. We have the following coordinator positions available:
- Tulsa (near 15th/Utica) - Tuesday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tulsa (near TU campus) - Monday or Friday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tulsa (near 6th/Garnett) - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- North Tulsa (near Lewis and Apache) - Monday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- West Tulsa (near 41st and Union) - Wednesday 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Broken Arrow (Near 101st/Elm) - Monday or Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

New coordinators will receive training and support prior to beginning their first volunteer shift.
