I have been volunteering with MOW for approx. 2 years, and I enjoy the fellowship with the other volunteers and the clients we serve.

I participated in creating cards for Valentine's Day that would be delivered to recipients of the food from Meals on Wheels, and everyone in the office was so kind and helpful. It was a fun way to get involved and brighten the day of others. I will definitely be volunteering some more with them!

Meals on Wheels isn't just about delivering a meal but is also about caring for one of the most vulnerable populations, offering friendly support with each interaction.

The process of delivering meals to the homebound is so easy. I just pick up my meals at my site, grab the list of where I'm going and if I get lost, I ust use the GPS in my cell phone to find an address. It took me about an hour to deliver to 10 people.
