Are you interested in providing advocacy and friendly visits to our hospice patients in the Price Hill area? Grace Hospice is seeking Volunteers to visit weekly or bi-weekly to provide companionship visits to our patients in Nursing Homes. You are the community involvement that they need! All training is provided in our Norwood office and Grace pays for all background testing/fingerprints. If you have an extra hour every week or every other week, please, consider visiting with one of our patients.

Description
Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At HarmonyCares, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.
HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
