The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is inviting individuals to volunteer this Martin Luther King Jr. Day at The Oaks adult day program. RSVP will provide participants with lunch as they tour the facility, learn more about The Oaks, and assist program staff in implementing activities for clients to celebrate the history of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Oaks adult day program provides stimulating activities provided in a safe environment designed to improve social interaction and mental acuity for adults coping with cognitive, physical, or mental disabilities. Therapeutic activities include lively discussions, favorite movies, games, cooking, daily exercise, music, and more. The Oaks adult day program provides much-needed respite for the caregivers of these adults. Volunteers will be offered a pizza lunch, go through orientation, clean up the kitchen from lunch, and help the staff and clients with activities.
Day: Monday January 20, 2020
