We are looking for 2-4 undergraduate interns who are studying in the human services, psychology, counseling or social work fields and are at least a junior in college. The internship begins May 3rd. This internship is available for students who wish to work with survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual trauma who struggle with eating disorders, PTSD and Dissociation.
We have group opportunities 7 days a week. All opportunities are remote.
This basic internship includes:
- Curriculum Development
- Group Facilitation
- Workshop Presentations
- Other opporunities based on hours required
This internship is fully remote, utilizing Zoom, an audio/visual program. Interns must successfully complete a background check (at the intern's cost) and interview on Zoom. Acceptance into our internship program is contingent on successful completion of the background and reference checks. An internship application is required and if for college credit must have the approval of your internship professor. Supervision is by an Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Required forms need to be reviewed prior to the internship to see if our program qualifes with your university.

Description
Hope Recovery is a support program for individuals struggling to cope with abuse and sexual trauma. We are devoted to providing support services to adult survivors of trauma. Supportive friends and family are requested to sponsor a survivor service by providing a donation. All direct service volunteers must have a current criminal background check.
