ORGANIZATION: National MS Society, Greater Illinois

Are you looking to get more involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society?
Do you like connecting others (friends, family, coworkers) to great volunteer opportunities?
Are you willing to commit just a couple hours a week to help make Walk MS: Deerfield a great event, and be one of our go to Volunteer Leads the day of the event?

If you have answers: YES

Then keep reading, we have the perfect opportunity for you:
Join one of the largest MS fundraisers in the country on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Bannockburn Lake Properties for Walk MS: Deerfield. Plans are underway to make this year's event a great day of fun and festivities in support of those living with multiple sclerosis, their families, and caregivers.

We are currently seeking a Lead Volunteer to help support our Walk MS volunteer recruitment efforts as well as onsite support the day of the event. We are looking for an individual that is comfortable giving directions to others, that can help train volunteers as they arrive to ensure they understand their role, feel confident moving around volunteers when needed, being the onsite go to for volunteer needs with the support of the society staff member overseeing volunteers, and more!

This is a great opportunity to work closely with the National MS Society and learn a lot about event planning and management!

Trainings and meetings leading up to the event will be required.
