The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers to help older adults in a variety of settings within Washtenaw County. Opportunities are in Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Saline, Manchester, Dexter, and Whitmore Lake.

We need volunteers to:

-Drive meals to homebound older adults

-Help prepare and serve lunch during senior cafes

-Friendly visit with those in hospice, those who are homebound whose caregivers need a respite break, and/or with veterans

-Drive seniors to their health and fitness classes, then take them home afterward

-Assist participants and instructors in an evidence-based studio cycling program for Parkinson’s patients

-Plan and attend a fun monthly trip for a group of older adults within Michigan
