OHS helps people of very low income and no income to feed their pets. It's such a rewarding opportunity!
We need help bagging/labeling and/or delivering.
Bagging and labeling is very easy and done at your own pace. Volunteers usually tell us how
many pounds they would like to bag/label and then pick it up at the program manager's house, process it, and drop it off at their convenience. All materials are provided. Some people process 10-20 pounds, others
process 100-200 lbs.
If you prefer to deliver, let us know and we can develop a schedule that works for you. Our
drivers pick-up and deliver food generally once a week. Deliveries usually take about an hour and
locations are within the Tri-City region.
And if you want to donate pet food, we're here for that too! It can be a great way for a company or family to give back :)

Ohlone Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves the Tri-City area in the East Bay. We care for animals and the community through humane programs and services. Ohlone Humane Society is privately funded and relies on the generous support of our community through donations and volunteering.
As one of the few humane societies that maintains a wildlife rehabilitation center, Ohlone Humane Society truly advocates for all creatures--from injured or orphaned native species to abandoned companion animals.
