OHS helps people of very low income and no income to feed their pets. It's such a rewarding opportunity. We need help bagging/labeling and/or delivering.
Bagging and labeling is very easy and done at your own pace. Volunteers usually tell us how many pounds they would like to bag/label and then pick it up at the program manager's house, process it, and drop it off at their convenience. All materials are provided. Some people process 10-20 pounds, others process 100-200 lbs.
If you prefer to deliver, let us know and we can develop a schedule that works for you. Our drivers pick-up and deliver food generally once a week. Deliveries usually take about an hour and locations are within the Tri-City region.
And if you want to donate pet food, we're here for that too! It can be a great way for a company or family to give back :)
Contact us with any questions. You can help as much or as little as you're available. Thanks for your willingness to lend a hand!
