ORGANIZATION: Satellite Affordable Housing Associates

Help us celebrate Thanksgiving. We need help with set up, serving, clean up and visiting with our senior residents at Beth Asher's Thanksgiving luncheon in the Dimond District of Oakland on November 21 at 10:30 AM! This is a great opportunity to celebrate the holidays with our community and get to know our residents.

You will need to RSVP and complete your volunteer forms to attend this event. We would love to see you there!

Description

The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
