Can you volunteer at the San Jose Sharks Game at the SAP Center on Tuesday, November 12th, 2019; 5:00pm - 9:30pm to help share information with fans on There With Care, a Bay Area nonprofit that helps families and children facing critical illness?
Your participation in this fun event is going to help raise funds from the San Jose Sharks Foundation 50/50 Raffle for families who have a child in the hospital with a critical illness. This includes children with cancer, heart and lung conditions, leukemia and more.
No previous experience required.
Must be over the age of 18 years, and available to volunteer the full shift.
Individuals seeking service hours for educational credit are welcome.
Must be fluent in English, reliable, and comfortable talking with members of the community.
Full training/orientation provided at 5:00pm at a designated meeting point outside the SAP Center.
You'll be assigned a spot in and around the arena/concourse.

Mission Statement
The mission of There With Care is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life's day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Description
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco. When a family receives a medical diagnosis of critical illness for their child, There With Care connects with the family and engages community members and organizations to volunteer to help ease the stress of their day-to-day life activities.
