Did you know that half of domestic violence offenses go unreported? Did you also know that sexual assault is the most under-reported crime? Outreach is an essential part of Riverview Center’s mission, and in raising awareness of services available to those affected by sexual and domestic violence in Illinois. We need volunteers to help spread this mission through fundraising, tabling, canvassing, events, and more!
Interested in learning more but not ready to commit quite yet? We are holding a volunteer information session on December 4th, 2019 from 5:30-7:30PM at our Galena, IL office at 11358 Industrial Park Drive, Suite #2. Can't make it December 4th? Don't worry! We are holding another information session on December 7th from 1:00-3:00PM at the Galena Public Library. Hope to see you there!

Riverview Center is a nonprofit agency committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals affected by sexual assault in Iowa, and for individuals affected by sexual and domestic violence in Illinois.
Description
Our services are always free for survivors and their families. Our organization is supported by generous donations, grants and volunteer service. We provide the following services to survivors: legal, medical, and general advocacy, and therapy and counseling. We also provide the following services for the community: professional training, and prevention services.
