Virginia Beach CASA

Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is looking for dedicated volunteers to advocate for the child victims of abuse and neglect.

The Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program trains volunteers, age 21 & over, to act as special advocates in the VB Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court for children who have been abused or neglected. We're especially in need of more adult advocates to assist with our youth; however, we always need more advocates! If you’re in college, retired, currently working, or a stay-at-home parent you’ll discover becoming an advocate is a rewarding experience and a unique opportunity to make a lifelong impact on a child’s life.

Don't have the time or ability to devote to being a CASA? We also need volunteers to assist in the CASA office and with other program activities.

We look forward to sharing more about what being a CASA entails. The next Virginia Beach CASA information sessions will be:

  • Wednesday, April 10th at 12:00pm noon, via Zoom (join here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82398703665)

Please use the Zoom link to join either one. We will share information on the program history, statistics, and what it requires to become a CASA!
