ORGANIZATION: Pacific Symphony

Pacific Symphony improves the quality of life in Orange County by providing people of all ages and circumstances with lifelong musical experiences and opportunities to participate in the creative process. Over 50,000 community members from more than 300 organizations throughout Southern California benefits from these programs every year.

The Education & Engagement Intern will primarily be responsible for assisting with our Family Musical Mornings concerts, a series of five Saturday morning concerts that includes interactive lobby activities designed to engage children and their parents. The intern may also have the opportunity to work with other events including Pacific Symphony’s Lunar New Year events, Lantern Festival, Youth Concerts, and other community events.

The Education & Engagement Intern will get hands-on experience with creating activities for all ages, with exposure to curriculum and educational content development. Intern will also build skills with event planning and front of house experience, in addition to receiving exposure to production meetings and aspects of concert production.
