ORGANIZATION: National MS Society - Arizona & New Mexico

Multiple Sclerosis Society- Walk MS Phoenix is a charity walk series that take place in over 550 locations with more than 330,000 people participating annually. We've been walking since 1988 and to date have raised more than $920 million to drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most.

Together, we become a powerful force.

Groups and individuals of all ages and abilities are encouraged and invited to volunteer.

Location: Start & Finish SRP parking lot, 1600 N Priest Dr, Tempe

Registration 6:30 am - Walk starts at 8:00 am Volunteers are a vital part of this event. Let’s do something about MS NOW! Volunteers receive MS T-shirts, snacks and a free pass to the Phoenix Zoo!

    Tear-down Crew, Take down tents, tables, chairs, gather trash, general clean up
  • Sat Nov 02, 2019 - morning / 07:30 AM to 11:00 AM
    Cheer Crew- Cheer on participants at Start and Finish Line; and help with event clean up
  • Sat Nov 02, 2019 - 05:30 AM to 09:00 AM
    Check-in/Registration- Greet and check-in walk participants, collect pledge envelopes and donations, provide general event information.
  • Sat Nov 02, 2019 - 05:30 AM to 07:30 AM
    Saturday AM set-up crew, help complete set-up of event site
  • Fri Nov 01, 2019 - evening / 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM
    Set-up Crew, help set up tables and chairs, canopies, signs, etc.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists because there are people with MS. Our vision is a world free of MS. Everything we do is focused so that people affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.

We are more than an organization. We are a movement. United in our collective power to do something about MS now and end this disease forever. The gathering place for people with MS, their family and loved ones, healthcare providers, volunteers, donors, fundraisers, advocates, community leaders and all those that seek a world free of MS. A place to connect and take action. In order to change the world, we mobilize all possible human and financial resources to achieve results.
