On Route volunteers travel along a pre-determined section of the route supporting our riders, rest stop volunteers, and staff. We have several positions available. Volunteers get a "stylish" blue, or yellow t-shirt, meals, water, snacks, friendship and good times helping with a great cause. *Drivers are required to complete a background check and a 30 min, online driving course. Drive your own vehicle (a truck with on open bed or a mini van/SUV with fold down seats or a car with a bike rack,) and provide safety and reasurance to our riders by picking them up and driving them to the next rest stop. We will provide everything you need from gas money, to bike repair supplies to hand out to riders. For the safety of our participants, staff and especially YOU, this role requires the following: provide a copy of drivers license Viewing of a safety video and passing test score (Don't worry. You can retake it as many times as you need to. Completion of a background check
