Attention: All volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity are currently suspended. Volunteer and programming activity will resume as normal once health officials declare that the danger has passed. In the meantime, please continue to express interest in all open volunteer opportunities.
Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte is looking for volunteers to care for the children of our partner families! When a family is buying a home through Habitat Charlotte, they attend brief classes on homeownership and financial literacy to ensure their success as new homeowners. Volunteers in this role will help facilitate these classes by caring for children (usually 3 or 4 of toddler age or younger) while adult members learn the skills that they need. By volunteering your time, you will be helping us partner with more families in our mission to end poverty housing in the Charlotte area.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be of at least 21 years of age and be willing to agree to a background check.
