We are seeking a motivated and savvy Content Marketing Specialist to oversee our content editing needs and ensure that our external documents, promotional materials, and articles are free of errors, easy to read and conform to the publication's style. We are looking for an individual with a passion for writing, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines to join our team. A BA in journalism, communications, or English is required.
Duties:
- Copywriting ability to write on-message, optimized blog, emails, landing pages and long-form content including white papers and case studies
- Create content in a variety of formats, including video
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the website, creating content clusters and working with developer to optimize using both on-page and off-page SEO techniques
- Curate content for use in sponsor/donor newsletters, on social media and for internal knowledge reference
- Reviewing and preparing materials for Executive Director, as needed

Description
Vaccine Ambassadors is a North Carolina-based 501 (c)3 nonprofit, established in 2015 by healthcare providers and children's health advocates who believe that access to vaccines is a basic human right.
Through a joint initiative, Facilitating Equitable Access to Vaccines in the Americas, with our partners at the Pan American Health Organization, Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Americas, Vaccine Ambassadors funds the purchase and international logistics of high-quality vaccines for children and families residing in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through this initiative we have provided 1 million vaccines covering 12 different diseases in 12 countries.
