Habitat's regular crews are looking for volunteers who are experienced in construction or would like to learn more in depth! Weekday crew members choose one day per week as their regular volunteer day: Wednesday Crew, Thursday Crew or Friday Crew (Critical Home Repair Friday's). Our programs also help to support Veterans #supportveterans
Approximate Hours: 2-4 build days per month (8 hour shifts)
Length of Commitment: 6 months
Age: 18+

Founded as a Christian Ministry, Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to develop community with people in need by building and renovating homes, so that people can live and grow into all that God intended. Habitat Charlotte's mission is accomplished by: Constructing simple, decent, and affordable houses, Selling the houses at no profit and low interest and using the mortgage payments to build more houses. Description
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region builds houses in partnership with low income working families who purchase the homes at low interest and no profit. Volunteer labor and donated items help keep house costs low. Families must work on their own and other's homes.
