- As a member of the "Hospice Care Team", you will receive specific training in helping someone (patients and family members) at a most difficult time.
- As a Hospice Volunteer, you may be providing such duties as relief for tired caregivers, companionship and socialization, spiritual support, diversarial activities, errands and/or transportation, and /or light housekeeping or meal preparation, and much, much more.
- Hours are flexible (daytime, evening, and weekends). Example: 1-2 times a visit a week; from 1 to 4 hours a visit.
- After training is completed, new volunteers will be placed in their neighborhood (5-10 miles)--we serve all of Orange County. Check out our website--companionhospice.com or call 714-560-8177 and talk to Jerry Peay, Director of Volunteers.

- Our Interdisciplinary Team creates a loving approach to meeting the needs of those we serve by being compassionate and caring at a most difficult time.
- All our staff, including, our volunteers, receive intensive orientation and training, so that they are better equipped to assist our patients.
- Companion Hospice has several offices in the Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties; plus our newest office in Mesa, Arizona.
- We are Medicare Certified, State Licensed, and JCAHO Accredited.
