Direct Patient Visit Volunteers --- Visiting our patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they can have some time away for themselves. There is no hands on direct care required or expected of our volunteers, just your time.
Volunteers needed to visit patients and provide companionship that reside in facilities or their private homes throughout the New Bedford and Fairhaven area. Visits are scheduled weekly based on the need of the patient and a time that works well for you.
