Father Gene's Help Center is seeking welcoming individuals to serve as the first face and voice of the organization when clients, donors, and community members come to the center. We are looking for individuals to cover either a morning or an afternoon shift once a week, Monday through Thursday, at least one person per shift. Duties include:

• Welcome and greet those who come to the center. Help to facilitate an atmosphere of hospitality. Respond to general inquiries.
• Check in shoppers and queue them appropriately.
• Distribute client orders.
• Answer the phone, and when necessary, direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Keep the reception area ("Hospitality Area") stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Afternoon volunteers will help to direct and participate in clean up after closing at 3 pm:
  • Wash dishes, cups, and coffee pot.
  • Wipe down tables, chairs, and counters.
  • Vacuum the main shopping area, check out area, and specialty room.
  • Make sure the bathrooms are clean, tidy, and well stocked.
• Morning volunteers open/unlock the door at 9 am.
• Afternoon volunteers close/lock the door at 3 pm.
