Mercer Island Thrift Shop

Our nonprofit thrift shop which supports Mercer Island Youth & Family Services has a Power BI project. The qualified volunteer will design a desktop file that combines relevant data files and reports for various end users. The information will improve insights into productivity, sales, and customer trends and save hundreds of staff hours compiling reports into spreadsheets. Create visualizations that will serve as a dashboard report for senior managers.

The work has already begun with converting our point of sale data into a Sequel database. We're looking for a volunteer proficient in Power BI to come alongside our store management team to collaboratively complete this project between now and the end of October. Due to our municipal internet security requirements, the work must occur on sight.

Work times are very flexible and our site hours of operation are:
7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday
9:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
10:00 am to 6:00pm Sunday.

Contact Suzanne Philen at 206-275-7753 with any questions you may have.
