Position Summary
As a Product Manager on the Strategic Information and Integration team you will be responsible for managing the product strategy for a family of transportation applications.
Position Responsibilities
- Help to define the product vision
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
- Plan and execute throughout the product life cycle
- Create the business case for new products, product enhancements and work closely with software development, operations and support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Define and track key business and usage analytics data to measure product success
Position Requirements
- A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth
- Embraces the vision, mission, and core values of JAARS
- You have a passion for building amazing applications that users love, and can balance competing opportunities (including evaluating customer needs with business priorities)
- Strong strategy and leadership skills; a creative, innovative problem-solver who also pays careful attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and articulating a user case
- You can influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and build relationships across cultures and organizations
- Three or more years of product management experience in a software product team, with prior success defining and launching excellent products
- Computer Science or a related technical degree is strongly preferred, an MBA is a plus

JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief--and the vision--that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.
We are a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand. We do that by supporting Bible translation and language development partners globally, and by working with prayer and financial partners in the United States to help make a range of unique on-the-field solutions possible.
