Help Out Your Community - Volunteer Drivers Needed in Kent
Every day our volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of people in our community. If you enjoy giving your time to help others and believe transportation is a basic human right, we want to hear from you!
Volunteer drivers are desperately needed for Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation program. Using your own vehicle, you would help older adults maintain their independence by taking them to much needed medical appointments. Clients greatly appreciate their improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind. Unfortunately, the program does not have enough volunteers to meet the fast-growing demand for senior transportation. This means we must turn away several seniors every week. Help us close the gap by applying to volunteer today!
This FLEXIBLE volunteer opportunity allows you to provide a personalized touch in driving seniors "door to door"-- from their home to appointments.
If you have the "drive" to help others, a clean driving record, and some daytime availability, call (206)748-7588, email Diana at email@example.com or visit http://www.soundgenerations.org/transportation to find out more.
Help seniors get "on the road" to fuller, healthier, happier lives!
**Note: WE NEED DRIVERS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY!! You would only drive seniors in your area, so the address listed here is not accurate.
