Our Bonita Springs Mission Station has some unique volunteer opportunities in the heart of the picturesque downtown. Come enjoy the rewards of serving others. Many of our friends in need get assistance at The Salvation Army. From the Food Pantry to Baby Basics you may find the volunteer opportunity for you. Serving in the Bonita Springs Mission Station is a heartwarming and personal experience. The Salvation Army is meeting direct needs due to COVID 19 from food to emotional & spiritual counseling. Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.


The Salvation Army Fort Myers Area Command includes many locations offering multiple programs and services. Facilities include a residential shelter, Homeless Resource Day Center, Outreach Centers in Bonita Springs ,LaBelle, and Lehigh Acres, a Worship and Administration center, Triage & Low Demand shelter and transitional housing for graduate clients. Programs include a comprehensive care program, family shelter, a medical respite unit, a correctional services program, a food services program which includes evening meals for the homeless and needy, crisis management for those on the verge of homelessness, a Christmas Cheer outreach ministry to disadvantaged homes in the area, and more. These social service programs help thousands of people each year and are very rewarding to be involved with.
