Give Rides to Change Lives!

As a Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation driver you help older adults maintain their independence by taking them to much needed medical appointments. Clients greatly appreciate their improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind.

The role of volunteer driver is very flexible - drivers, using their own car (mileage reimbursement is available), choose the number of rides they want to give each week, what day and time, and to where. Most volunteer drivers fill a couple of rides requested each week. Some volunteers give more rides and some less.

It makes a huge difference in the lives of seniors to give them a ride to doctor's appointments. Help more seniors get "on the road" to improved health and increased connection by becoming a volunteer today!

"You have done wonders for my life. I would not have been able to stay in my own home for as long as I have without your help. Thank you for all you do." Jeanne, 84
