Are you available Monday mornings? Are you computer savvy, enjoy speaking with clients, and do you want to learn how to use a walkie talkie to communicate with Meals-On-Wheels drivers?
Our Nutrition Department runs a Meals-On-Wheels program, which delivers meals to seniors at home to support their well-being and independence. This program is looking for a volunteer to help every Monday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The volunteer role covers the phones at the "base" for MOW drivers who call, and it requires sufficient familiarity with a computer to input information, as well as a respect for confidentiality. We're looking for a volunteer who can plan to help for a year.
