The Crisis Center is looking for individuals and groups that are willing to volunteer at our Donation Center. The volunteer responsibilities will include accepting and sorting donations as well as other assigned tasks.

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence.
Description
The primary purpose of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia is to provide temporary shelter for abused women and their children. Additionally, the Crisis Center provides comprehensive social services to all victims of domestic violence. These services include individual and group counseling for women and children; hospital based victim's advocacy; court advocacy for victims in area courts; assisting victims in obtaining financial and medical aid; counseling programs for men who batter; transitional housing for women and children; community education; and professional internship training.
