Description

The primary purpose of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia is to provide temporary shelter for abused women and their children. Additionally, the Crisis Center provides comprehensive social services to all victims of domestic violence. These services include individual and group counseling for women and children; hospital based victim's advocacy; court advocacy for victims in area courts; assisting victims in obtaining financial and medical aid; counseling programs for men who batter; transitional housing for women and children; community education; and professional internship training.
