Colorado Springs Food Rescue is seeking a Board Treasurer. The main duties of a treasurer are to oversee the financial administration of the organisation, review procedures and financial reporting, advise the board on financial strategy, and advise on fundraising.
Principal responsibilities:
- The treasurer shall make a financial report for each board meeting.
- The treasurer shall assist in the preparation of the budget, help develop fundraising plans, and make financial information available to board members and the public.

Food to Power is a non-profit organization whose goal is to create a more just and less wasteful food system. We facilitate the sustainable redistribution of food "waste" to agencies that feed hungry, homeless, and low-income populations while educating communities about and advocating for food justice and the reduction of structural poverty.
Description
Food to Power functions through a volunteer based direct redistribution programming, picking up food that would otherwise be thrown out and delivering that food directly to an organization that will disperse that food to those in need. These volunteers mainly deliver the food by bicycle.
