Hannah's House is a family center that provides a safe place for children caught in the middle of challenging family life changes - a place where children can come together with their parents in a nurturing, supportive, solution-focused and protective environment. Our menu of services is designed to support parents and children through family challenges.
Join the Fundraising Team at Hannah's House! Bring you skills and enthusiasm and help:
- Research online for donors' address, demographics, etc. and update the database. (Network for Good)
- Help create and update the Donor Relations portfolios (Excel)
- Assist in compilation of survey results/data
- Input information on donors in NFG database as gathered weekly by surveys, phone calls, emails, visits, etc
- There is the potential for volunteers to be trained on the Communications module.
Applicants are required to complete online application, attend initial volunteer information interview and 2nd interview with Development Manager and commit to at least 6 months of volunteer service at 4-8 hours per week TBD; Participate in the in-person and online training on database; Have ability to work in-office or remotely after training; Should be a self-starter, can work independently

Description
When crisis strikes, Hannah's House assists families to make positive transitions in the family structure. The transitions are caused by: divorce/separation/custody/ visitation disputes; domestic violence; child abuse/neglect; parental substance abuse and mental illness. Hannah's House assists family members through parent and co-parent education, animal-assisted children's groups; facilitated coparenting meetings; anger management classes; and substance abuse evaluations.
