Catholic Hospice, serving Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, is implementing a new program called Acts of Kindness where community artisans and craftspeople can donate handcrafted items and creations for patients.
Our patients and their families would greatly appreciate your sincere gesture because it means knowing that others in the community are thinking about them.
We will accept cards of encouragement and blank note cards; blankets and quilts; and hand-sewn personal items. A few examples include neck pillows, gowns, positioning pillows, shirt savers, small paintings, activity blankets and hand-crafted items.
For further information, please contact us via email at volunteerservices@catholichospice.org and we'll respond to your inquire within 48 hours.
