ORGANIZATION: Ambler EAC

The Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) of Ambler Borough needs three to four enthusiastic volunteers to serve as Site Assessors.

The Ambler Site Assessor’s role: Visit residences that have requested an assessment; follow a prepared checklist to assess the property’s runoff characteristics-- usually takes 30-45 minutes; provide your recommendations for which stormwater tool(s) to install to homeowner and EAC.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT: Each volunteer Assessor will "shadow" an experienced assessor (Robert Pace) to better understand the procedure and to gain helpful tips and insights, prior to undertaking an assessment on their own. Site Assessors need not have detailed prior knowledge of stormwater management techniques although previous knowledge and/or experience will be very helpful.

PERIOD OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE: 5 months -- can be extended until Dec. 2020.

Point of Contact/Further Details: Robert Pace: pacerob77@gmail.com
