The Adopt-A-Family, Admin & Donor Relations Volunteer will support the Volunteer Program with various administrative tasks for the Adopt-A-Family program. During the months of September-January, this volunteer will collaborate with staff to help families "get adopted" during the holidays and also recognize and steward the donors that sponsor them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in coordinating annual holiday donation campaign "Adopt-A-Family" with Volunteer Program team from planning stage, to implementation, and conclusion
- Process family "wish lists" (the paperwork that families complete to participate in the Adopt-A-Family program)
- Review wish lists for grammar and technical inconsistencies before sending them to prospective donors
- Communicate with Lifeline staff to ensure wish lists and processes are being completed efficiently and accurately
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the staff, volunteers, and donors
- Expand stewardship plan to ensure volunteers and donors are being recognized in a timely and meaningful way
- Clerical/administrative duties including but not limited to:
- Data entry (into Excel and database), quality control, filing, monitoring inventory, etc.
