AHC, an affordable housing developer, provides backpacks with school supplies to all elementary school age children living in AHC properties in Arlington, VA. Help us deliver the backpacks to help our youngest residents start school off on the right foot.

You will pick the backpacks up at Woodbury Park/Frederick, 2230 N Fairfax Dr, Arlington VA 22201 and deliver them other AHC properties in Arlington. Volunteers will drive their own vehicles. Vehicles must have room for 20-40 filled bags.

AHC’s Resident Services program supports thousands of children, families and senior citizens through on-site programs. We focus primarily on comprehensive education programs; after school, teen, college & career, and summer camp programs for elementary through high school students. The program also provides programs to help adults strengthen their economic stability and build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
