We are looking for volunteers who could consistently commit time each week to devote to helping animals and our community by raising money for OHS to run our service programs: foster kittens and adoption, spay-neuter and veterinary assistance for low income families, trap-neuter-return of free-roaming community cats, pet therapy, pet pantry to supply pet food and supplies to the needy, info line for resources referrals, wildlife rehabilitation, and humane education.
Do you have time available and commitment to follow through?
Do you have creative solutions and the dedication to make them materialize?
You can choose to lead or help as a team member with:
- Grant applications
- Online fundraising
- Event fundraising
- Development of sponsorships
- Development of corporate & business relationships
- Donor management
- Community outreach
Experience is appreciated but willingness to learn, commitment and dedication are more important. Training can be provided.

Description
Ohlone Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves the Tri-City area in the East Bay. We care for animals and the community through humane programs and services. Ohlone Humane Society is privately funded and relies on the generous support of our community through donations and volunteering.
As one of the few humane societies that maintains a wildlife rehabilitation center, Ohlone Humane Society truly advocates for all creatures--from injured or orphaned native species to abandoned companion animals.
