Join Project Purple on September 14th as we run and walk to BEAT Pancreatic Cancer through beautiful Overpeck County Park in Leonia NJ.
We are in need of volunteers to help us make this a successful event! Volunteer responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • parking cars, pre-registration
  • day of registration
  • food/water
  • on course water stations
  • traffic control
  • course direction

We ask that all volunteers be available from 6:15am-12:45pm

Pancreatic cancer is the 3rd largest killer of all cancer killers and the least funded of the top 10 cancers. It is also the only cancer in the top 10 killers with a single digit survival rate after 5 years.

Project Purple is a leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the third most common cause of cancer related deaths in the United States and has a five-year survival rate of less than ten percent. Project Purple strives to provide funds towards critical research to discover an early detection tool and offering financial aid to pancreatic cancer patients fighting this disease.
