Carnegie Science Center Volunteer Opportunity: Mummies of the World

From mid-September 2019 through April 2020, help us engage visitors in our new PPG Science Pavilion traveling exhibit: Mummies of the World. Mummies of the World is the largest exhibition of real mummies and related artifacts ever assembled. This compelling collection, presented with reverence and dignity, includes ancient mummies from South America, Europe, and ancient Egypt, dating back as far as 4,500 years.

This unique volunteering opportunity will last from mid-September 2019 through April 2020. Hours of operation are 10:00am-5:00pm, seven days a week, with certain extended hours at the beginning and end of the exhibit. Mummies volunteers will work one 4-hour shift per week during the 7-month course of the exhibit.

Volunteers will work in the exhibit gallery to interact with guests of all ages, the predominant goal being to help create memories for guests that will last a lifetime!
