Don’t wait until next Spring to complete your graduation hours; you’ll have other fun things to do! Here at Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, we have openings for help with yard work, pet care, shopping, and housework, everything you already do at home! The difference is that you will be helping low income elderly and persons living with disabilities doing tasks which are easy for you but difficult for them. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes. You will make a huge difference! We serve a vulnerable population; the application form and process includes a background check, provision of driver’s license and auto insurance, and a fun orientation and training session. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, or volunteer in pairs with an adult in their life.

"See how they love one another." Our mission is to help elders and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own home by providing chore assistance and transportation from volunteers at no cost to the individual.

Description

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
