I'd rate higher but I applied two weeks ago and still waiting on a response. Called, talked to and apparently its' taking three weeks to process the paperwork.... I was taught with business etiquette to reply within 12-24 hours and give a solid "yes" or "no" answer within a week for a job... Otherwise very polite, kind, caring individuals. Agree with the ethics and principles of the business.

Great organization. You get the satisfaction of helping people who might otherwise have to move out of their residences. Everyone I have dealt with has been easy to work with and is always very appreciative of our assistance. The nice thing for me is I get to choose what I want to do and when I want to do it. There's never any pressure.

I have volunteered with VCS for several years and have enjoyed my experience very much. Everyone I have helped has needed the help and has been so appreciative. I have enjoyed all the folks that make VCS run so well, they are all very professional and caring, they all seem to love their jobs and want to help others.

Where to begin? The staff is professional and works hard to represent and accomodate the interests of the volunteers, just as much as they work hard for their clients. Our church has a solid monthly work party that engages with VCS and every experience changes us as deeply as it effects the lives of the clients. We would not likely have this ministry in place without CCS doing all of the organizing for us. All we have to do is schedule a date and we always get a group together to do the work. Thank you CCS for helping us to help others!

Being a volunteer is a wonderful experience. I am not only giving to others my time and talents but I am also receiving the gift of friendship, laughter, and wisdom. Volunteering on a regular basis or simply just taking on an assignment once a month or every few months, makes a difference in someone’s life. Most importantly it lets them know that someone cares about them.

I am not Catholic and a lot of the people they help are not Catholic. This program helps anyone in need and it is very well run by wonderful caring people. I am not able to help someone full time but there are always one time opportunities that my husband and I can help with. There are a lot of seniors and disabled people that just need a little help once in a while. Most people can find some time to help someone--an hour here and there really makes a difference.

Volunteer chores provides a great service for many people who need a little help to keep their independence. I am told almost weekly by different clients that the services we provide are what allows them to stay in their home. I highly recommend this orginization to anyone who is interested in making a large impact in someone's life.

I've been a volunteer of CCS for the last 3 months and I have really enjoyed it. The organization is very well run and organized; and the people who work there are very commited to helping the clients and the volunteers.

Great organization to work with! The clients they serve really appreciate the help they receive. It does not take much time but both the client and volunteer get so much from it. I highly recommend!
