Hannah's House is a family center that provides a safe place for children caught in the middle of challenging family life changes - a place where children can come together with their parents in a nurturing, supportive, solution-focused and protective environment. Our menu of services is designed to support parents and children through family challenges.

Inventory Control Volunteer

Calling all organizers! Help Hannah’s house implement and maintain an efficient organization system for program supplies and in the child/parent visitation rooms by volunteering as an Inventory Control Volunteer. Those interested in becoming an organizer should have demonstrable organizing skills and expertise and a passion to create and maintain tidy and organized spaces. Volunteer applicants are required to complete online application, attend volunteer information interview and commit to at least 6 months of volunteer service. Volunteer opportunity is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 10a to 4p. This is an adult only volunteer opportunity.

Description

When crisis strikes, Hannah's House assists families to make positive transitions in the family structure. The transitions are caused by: divorce/separation/custody/ visitation disputes; domestic violence; child abuse/neglect; parental substance abuse and mental illness. Hannah's House assists family members through parent and co-parent education, animal-assisted children's groups; facilitated coparenting meetings; anger management classes; and substance abuse evaluations.
