Hannah's House is a family center that provides a safe place for children caught in the middle of challenging family life changes - a place where children can come together with their parents in a nurturing, supportive, solution-focused and protective environment. Our menu of services is designed to support parents and children through family challenges.
Child Development- Visitation Room Assessment Volunteer
In an effort to set up and maintain age appropriate and child friendly parent/child visitation rooms, Hannah’s House is seeking a volunteer with child development background to assess current visitation rooms. After assessment, the volunteer would create and implement a developmentally appropriate visitation room plan for each visitation room. Volunteer should have a child development background. Volunteer is required to complete an online volunteer application and meet with volunteer manager for an informational meeting.

Description
When crisis strikes, Hannah's House assists families to make positive transitions in the family structure. The transitions are caused by: divorce/separation/custody/ visitation disputes; domestic violence; child abuse/neglect; parental substance abuse and mental illness. Hannah's House assists family members through parent and co-parent education, animal-assisted children's groups; facilitated coparenting meetings; anger management classes; and substance abuse evaluations.
