Hannah's House (HH) is a family center that provides a safe place for children caught in the middle of challenging family life changes - a place where children can come together with their parents in a nurturing, supportive, solution-focused and protective environment. Our menu of services is designed to support parents and children through family challenges.

Volunteer Crafters

Bring your creative talents and host a craft event for youth ages 5-18! Use your artistic expression to share your sewing, scrapbooking, jewelry and other DIY crafting skills with Hannah’s House families. This volunteer opportunity is open to families, small groups and child/parent teams. Crafting days and held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10a-12p and preparation days can be on any weekday between the hours of 9a and 3p. Volunteers are required to complete online application form and meet with volunteer manager for an introductory meeting.

Description

When crisis strikes, Hannah's House assists families to make positive transitions in the family structure. The transitions are caused by: divorce/separation/custody/ visitation disputes; domestic violence; child abuse/neglect; parental substance abuse and mental illness. Hannah's House assists family members through parent and co-parent education, animal-assisted children's groups; facilitated coparenting meetings; anger management classes; and substance abuse evaluations.
