VOLUNTEERS NEEDED | CHILD CREATIVITY LAB COMMUNITY MAKERSPACE
Creativity flows best when you have the right environment -- Help us make our space a better place! We have a private open studio and need a few volunteers to help make it a fun event for the children. No prior experience necessary!
Volunteer Role:
- Assist with set-up & clean-up of workshop-leave location as clean, if not cleaner, than upon arrival
- Dress appropriately-what would be acceptable at an elementary school (no flip flops, short shorts, bare midriffs, tight-fitting or low-cut tops, shirts with foul language or graphics, etc.)
- Help ensure that children are being safe with materials
- Interact with children & ask open-ended questions to stimulate their creativity
- Hot glue and/or spray paint students’ creations
- Serve as a role model for the children (be happy, positive, speak kindly, don’t be on phone, talk with other volunteers too much, etc.)
- Have fun!
