VOLUNTEER JOB FOR A LEADER!
The Harbor Dish is seeking experienced executive directors to help take us to the next level. We are a small, all-volunteer 501(c)3 in Safety Harbor. Our ultimate goal is to open a pay-what-you-can cafe. Our mission is to reduce food insecurity and foster a sense of community by providing meals and educational experiences in a dignified environment, regardless of ability to pay. Our organization has been serving more people in our community because of Covid.
A perfect Board member will have experience leading a nonprofit and have the knowledge, skills and abilities to help the organization succeed.
Directors will be responsible for consistent achievement of the non-profit's mission and financial objectives.
Directors will help assure that we have a long-term strategy and provide leadership in developing plans and ensure that the Harbor Dish is in compliance with regulations. Directors will take part in day-to-day activities and network by attending local meetings with community groups and organizations, reporting back to the board. Another important role will be helping promote the mission and obtaining funds for a mobile food service trailer.

Description
The Harbor Dish community cafe is a 501(c)3 created in 2013 to serve the Safety Harbor, Florida area. The Harbor Dish creates delicious food where individuals needing a helping hand can dine with dignity. We have established a network of community minded people that have built a caring community that utilizes local farmers, businesses, and volunteers to enrich the lives of our patrons and reduce food waste.
Harbor Dish is a donation-based mobile cafe that creates community, one meal at a time. Harbor Dish transforms donated food into refined cuisine and serves 20+ nonprofits that offer services for the at-risk and homeless, the underserved and impoverished, domestic abuse recovery, human trafficking recovery, home bound seniors, chronically ill and veterans.
