Volunteers for Community Impact

Looking for a fun and educational volunteer experience? The Osceola County Historical Society has several opportunities available at both the Osceola County Welcome Center and Museum and the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek.

You could work in these areas:

Greeter: A friendly face to welcome visitors and engage in conversation about local history.

Special Events and Outreach: Assist with off site events.

Field Trip Attendant: Assist in the education of future generations.

Docent: Lead guided tours of the Pioneer Village (Mondays and special events).

Gardener: Maintain gardens, footpaths, and trees.

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with the Osceola County Historical Society to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation of National and Community Service. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!
