Need volunteer to sit with a patient on occasional days for doctor appointment, and Sundays to attend church from 10:30-1:00 pm (every other Sunday). Patient is not able to walk, able to communicate and is able to know what is going on around her, need someone that will talk to her, listen to her, possibly read to her, possibly play music for her.

We strive to connect with all of our patients and provide personalized physical, mental and spiritual care.
Description
Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.
