Being There Means Better Care

If you can speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, we need you! We have an urgent need for volunteers in Wayne, Portage, Summit, and Stark Counties!

Volunteers are needed to advocate for, educate, and empower nursing home residents. We’re currently looking for volunteers to join our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program who will advocate for the rights of residents, choices in care, and compassionate treatment.

This opportunity gives you the flexibility to make visits on your own schedule and work directly with Ombudsman Staff to make impactful changes on an individual and systemic level.
