Thank you for your interest in bringing your business or community organization to Environmental Learning Centers of CT to volunteer. ELCCT hosts many Employee Volunteer groups throughout the year. These groups complete a variety of tasks and are a great help at both the Indian Rock Nature Preserve and the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center. We are very grateful to these businesses for allowing their employees to contribute valuable time to our mission and programs.
- Groups should consist of at least five people
(Please give advance notice if there will be any one under 18 coming to help.)
- Please commit to volunteering at least three hours to make it worth the time and effort it takes to coordinate a group activity.
- Most, if not all, volunteer work is done outside.
- Please make arrangements at least two weeks in advance of the date you are requesting. Keep in mind that not all dates will be available and Indian Rock Nature Preserve and the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center have different open hours.
- Please consider a donation to cover the costs of any materials or tools needed to complete your project as well as to cover associated costs of planning, hosting and staffing the volunteer group.
