Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley has exciting opportunities for reading coaches! There is a need for both one on one and group session tutors that can effectively communicate and connect with students who struggle to read at a proficient level. As a student-centered agency, Literacy Connections caters to the needs of our students, whether that simply be reading their very first book or understanding instructions for a TASC exam. We make sure to create a tutoring schedule that is convenient for both you and your students. Orientation and tutor training will be held at our facilities on July 19th from 12:30-2:00pm. See you there!

We recruit and train volunteers to provide no-cost student-centered tutoring primarily for adults, and we offer programs and services for children and families that promote independence and enrichment through literacy.
